5 Reasons to 29er this Summer

It’s time to make plans for those long, sunny seabreeze filled months of summer.

You want to maximize your sailing to get the best bang for your buck and link together as many training and racing days as possible. Our summer 29er calendar changes every year to meet the needs of our current fleet. As a class we are nimble, it’s not the same old events at the same venues year after year. This year we are trucking up to New England where we will set up basecamp for the month of June.

Boat Transport

We’ve organized a big trailer to tow 29ers from Miami to Rhode Island, departing early June, and returning to south Florida mid-July for our South Florida skiffies to bring their boats to the events. Secure a spot for your boat on the trailer today.

We have a limited availability of charter boats for the major events in Rhode Island this June/July. Charters are $200/day, boats are race ready quality and come with all rigging, without sails. More information on charters can be found here.

We know that optimized skill development comes from deep work and deliberate practice, so we’ve thoughtfully designed the calendar to give the current generation of 29er sailors the best opportunity to make gains.
