Summer 2023

The 29er roadmap for the Summer of 2023 is going to be epic for sailors and parents.

Bristol, Rhode Island is an iconic New England town nestled between the bustling town of Newport and the city streets of Providence. Home to Roger Williams University and US Sailing, Bristol will be 29er HQ for the months of June and July. During the summer months, the Narragansett Bay is greeted most days by an idyllic seabreeze that funnels in from Block Island on it’s way up to Boston.

The Venue

There are 3 race course areas: 1) Just off the Roger Williams boathouse, 2) the Hog Island circle, and 3) the Portsmouth cove course. All three offering challenging current/tidelines and geographic windshifts.

Training & Racing

Training will be held daily prior to regatta “racing” days and be scheduled in order for athletes to peak with the greatest potential for top performance and the US Sailing Youth Champs, Youth World Qualification Regatta.

Charter Boats

29er Charter boats are available through 2NINER. Charters are offered without sails (main,jib, spinnaker) sailors are expected to provide their own. Registration for charters will open April 15.

Lodging & Meal plan

Can be organized with Roger Williams University. More information to come.
